the cardinal rule
I managed to get my hair cut on the weekend, but broke my cardinal rule of hair cutting: never get your hair cut shorter than your shoulders.I was over-enthused, and forgot to convey this to the hairdresser. I said "sitting on my shoulders", which somehow translated to the hair that I have now. Which I'm not going to post a photo of, because if you want to see it you'll have to make the effort to visit me. Or, wait till I arrive in Australia and by then it will be past my shoulders and we will no longer have a problem. ;)
